Handling of Personal Data

In individual cases we require your personal data, in particular for:
- the order and processing the order

- contacting us
- ordering our newsletter
- marketing activities, for example, to send you information with advertising content, unless you object to this
In our online shop there are two ways to make purchases. When you register, we ask you for various information that is important for our relationship with customers. Registration allows for various possibilities, for example following the progress of your order and changing your stored data yourself (for example, if your address changes). You may however shop in our online shop without registering. We collect, store and process individual data for the entire processing of your purchase, including any later warranty payments, in order to prevent misuse of our website and to inform you regarding orders, products, services and offers. We use the personal data transmitted to us only for the specific purpose for which they were provided to us.
Order and Order Processing
We require your correct name, address and payment information to process your order. We require your email address in order to confirm receipt of your order and to communicate with you. Furthermore, you receive your order and shipment confirmation via your email address.
Furthermore, we store name and address information for processing the order and if required, transmit this information for this purpose to third parties acting on our behalf. This includes for example postal services. The data thus disclosed may only be used by the recipient for carrying out its task. Any other use of the information is not permitted. Third parties to whom data is disclosed in the context of processing the order data are also subject to the data protection provisions and are contractually obligated confidentiality.
When you take up contact with us (for example using the contact form or email) your information is stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry as well as for any questions which may subsequently arise.
We inform you in our newsletter about us and our offers. If you would like to receive the newsletter, we need at least a valid email address from you. The data provided to us are only used for mailing the newsletter. For processing shipment we transmit this data to third parties acting on our behalf. The data thus disclosed may only be used by the recipient for carrying out its task. Any other use of the information is not permitted. Third parties to whom data is disclosed in the context of processing the order data are also subject to the data protection provisions and are contractually obligated to confidentiality.
When you sign up for the newsletter, we store your IP-address and the date. This serves solely as proof in case a third party should misuse an email address and sign up for the newsletter without the knowledge of the owner of the email address.
This Offer uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service offered by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", i.e. text files that are stored on users' computers and that allow the cookies to perform an analysis of users' use of a particular website. The information created by the cookie regarding use of this website by users are usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
However, if IP anonymization has been activated on this website, Google will first shorten the IP address of users in Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states of the European Economic Area. Only under exceptional circumstances will the complete IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. IP anonymization is active on our website. The website operator allows Google to use this information to evaluate the use of the website by users, to prepare reports on website activity and to provide additional services connected with website use and Internet use to the website operator.
The IP address transmitted by your browser in the scope of Google Analytics activities will not be combined with other Google data. You may prevent the storage of cookies using a corresponding setting on your browser software--however, in this case you may not be able to use all of the functions of this website. Beyond this, you can prevent the collection of the data created by the cookie that is related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
Use of Facebook Social Plugins
This Offer uses social plugins ("Plugins") of the facebook.com social network, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). Plugins are recognizable by one of the Facebook logos (a white "f" on a blue tile or a "thumbs-up" sign) or are marked "Facebook Social Plugin". The list and the appearance of the Facebook social plugins can be found at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins.
If you call up a page of this Offer containing such a Plugin, your browser sets up a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the Plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser which links it to the website. We therefore have no influence on the scope of the data Facebook collects using these Plugins and therefore informs the user according to his level of knowledge (http://www.facebook.com/help/186325668085084/).
Through the integration of Plugins, Facebook receives the information that you have called up the corresponding page of the Offer. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can connect the visit at the website with your Facebook account. When you interact with the Plugins, for example if you click on the Like button or write a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted by your browser directly to Facebook and stored there. If you are not a member of Facebook, the possibility still exists that Facebook can find out your IP address and store it. According to Facebook, only anonymized IP addresses are stored in Germany.
The purpose and scope of data collection and subsequent processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as the corresponding rights and possibilities of settings for protecting privacy of the user can be found in the Facebook data protection information: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
If you are a Facebook member and do not want Facebook to use this Offer to collect your data and connect such data with your membership data stored on Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. It is also possible to block Facebook social plugins with add-ons for your browser, for example with http://webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker/.
+1 Button at Google+
This Offer uses the "+1" button of the social network Google Plus, operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”). The button is recognizable by the characters "+1" on a white or colored background.
If you call up a page of this Offer containing such a button, the browser sets up a direct connection to Google servers. The content of the "+1" button is transmitted by Google directly to the browser and is integrated in the page. We therefore have no influence on the scope of data Google collects with the button. According to Google, no data is collected if the button is not clicked. Such data, including the IP address, is only collected from logged-in members and processed.
In addition, the information you provide is used in accordance with applicable Google data protection provisions. Google possibly publishes summarized statistics on +1 activities of users or passes them on to users and partners, such as publishers, lists of advertisers or linked websites.
The purpose and scope of data collection and subsequent processing and use of the data by Google as well as your corresponding rights and possibilities of settings for protecting your privacy can be found in the Google data protection information regarding the "+1" button: http://www.google.com/intl/de/+/policy/+1button.html and the FAQs: http://www.google.com/intl/de/+1/button/.
